Gosnell Jr., 68, was indicted by a federal grand jury on six counts, including possession of child pornography, receipt and attempted receipt of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, and conspiracy to commit these offenses. The indictment alleges that at least one image involved a prepubescent minor under 12 years of age, and that Gosnell conspired with a co-defendant to receive, distribute, and exchange sexually explicit material involving minors beginning in December 2023 (WCBD). The investigation began after Homeland Security Investigations linked an account associated with Gosnell to a United Kingdom-based site distributing child sexual abuse material. A search of his home and electronic devices uncovered a flash drive containing numerous videos and images depicting sexual abuse of children, including infants and toddlers.
